I’m Maria, a Portuguese visual artist with experience in visual development for animation and illustration.

My passion for drawing started since I can remember, and today my work is driven by a love for art, film, and storytelling, how they help us feel more connected to each other and therefore less alone in our own life experiences.

Alongside my artistic practice, I enjoy working collaboratively within creative teams, supporting ideas from early exploration through production. I value process, clarity and shared vision. 

When I’m not creating, you’ll likely find me recharging in nature, immersed in my yoga practice or spending time with loved ones.
